Sunday night Save

Much appreciation for Pierce/Pearce, who came to the rescue when I called to report water dripping from the ceiling in my small bathroom. It was quickly filling a pail, and the water spread (somehow) to my entry way and outside the door -- the hallway carpeting was soaked. Signs of water dripping down the wall and in the ceiling of the bathroom are also present. When I called for help he asked me to check the units above me for damage. 203 and 303 were not home, but 403 also had wet carpeting in the hallway. Apparently their washing machine was leaking. Pierce/Pearce brought a wet/dry vacuum and soaked up as much water as possible from my floors and the carpet in the hallway. He left a huge fan in the hall to help dry the floor/carpet. I'm sure coming out at 8 p.m. on a Sunday evening was not on his calendar, but he performed the necessary work very pleasantly and efficiently. Kudos and many thanks to him for getting here as soon as he did. He deserves a Stuart Star, but I couldn't find one to present to him.

Both maintenance guys came to work on my work orders this morning -- the very first day of my reporting them. They got the jobs finished in good time, and I find them always very pleasant to chat with. Thanks for having such able, pleasant workers!

Thanks to Mauro (again!)

As I was working at my computer this afternoon, I started to feel uncomfortably chilly. I checked the thermostat to discover that although it was still set at 71*, the thermostat registered only 66*. I tried to call the office and got no answer, so I called the emergency number to report the situation. To my surprise Mauro answered! I explained my fear that the furnace was not firing; he had to drive in from his home, but got here quickly. He surveyed the situation and within an hour or so had replaced the heat pump for the furnace with a refurbished unit! I can't believe how QUIET it is compared to the original equipment. I appreciate his willingness and ability to handle this situation in such a timely, pleasant, and courteous manner. Mauro is truly an asset to the York Plaza staff. Thank you for his service!!

"LUXER ONE" HAS ARRIVED!!!

HEALING AND SAFE PLACE

This has been a very healing and safe place for me to live in my life's transition that I am in. I am sad to be leaving this beautiful place, but it has completed the purpose for me and now I must move on. It is very peaceful here and quiet!

Swimming in the snow

Today I am using the warm indoor pool while watching the snow fall. I've also been enjoying the Wednesday evening yoga class ! I can't wait for warmer weather to arrive so I can walk the beautiful promenade right outside of my front door. This is really a great place to live!

Great Place To Live

I would recommend this place to live to anyone. We have been here for nearly six years and love it. The office staff are great never had problems so polite. The Manager here is so helpful always could not get a better manager. Maintenance is usually done next day they are great. It is also a really safe place to live. So close to movie theater, restaurants, South dale shopping center. All the Freeways are also so close. Again love living here :)

A Great Place to Live

We lived at York Plaza for over two years and only moved because we were moving out of state. It is an older building but was a wonderful place to live. Very quiet and convenient to everything. Centennial lakes is a great place to walk, shop and eat. The administrative and maintenance staff were exceptional and kept the place in good shape. They always were there to help or work out an issue. Loved the amenities: pools, party room, exercise room, resident pot lucks, movie days, business office area, and underground parking. Would live there again if we move back to Minnesota.

You will LOVE it!!!

My husband and I absolutely love living at York Plaza! The location is the BEST and the staff is top-notch and always friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff is very prompt and professional and we never hear any other tenants unless we are in a common area. The apartment itself is very roomy and comfortable. Come check it out. :D

Excellent place to live

We have lived here for about 4-5 years. Love this place cant say enough about the office staff. location is great. Maintenance staff is good they will try to fix the problem on the day if it is possible. We just moved into a two bedroom and John the office manager has been great with us cant say enough on how he has helped us to feel at home in this apartment. Place is clean after hour emergency is always ready to help. When you move in these apartments it is hard to move anywhere else.

It's a great place

This is a great place to live. The facilities are clean. The maintenance staff are friendly and timely. The value is very good (square footage vs. cost) compared to many of the newer developments here. The location is FANTASTIC, close to everything, shopping and all the activities going on at the Centennial Lakes area. I highly recommend it.

Truly best apartment homes on promenade!

York Plaza Apartment homes on the promenade are very well maintained and backed by friendly staff from Stuart Co. The location is one of its most striking feature of this apartment, right next to the promenade, centennial lake, Target & Hennepin County Library.

York Plaza Apartments Review

Its very nice for the amount you pay. The size of the apartments is what you really pay for. You are not going to get a huge dining and a living area and a sweet kitchen like in York anywhere else. I have lived in York Plaza on and off since 2007. Also lived in some of the neighboring ones like Durham. The small increase in rent in York compared to other places is worth it. The bathrooms are outdated. Thats the only downside. Other than that, very nice living experience.

Great place to live

We just moved a month ago and we like it very much. The buildings are clean, the management very friendly and helpful. We like the fact that it is a quiet building. The maintenance people are very nice. We submitted few work orders for our apartment and they came the same day to fix everything. We use the facilities also, the gym and the pool. Overall, we are happy with the decision to move here. Besides the fact that the apartment is nice, we love walking in the park and everywhere around. Great location.

If you want greater area, then this the best! If you want new age appliances in kitchen then you can consider cedars of edina .

Outstanding location for walking, biking and shopping. The York Plaza has excellent amenities and very prompt and professional maintenance service. Building underground garage is very nice to have available.

Awesome property if you are a non-techie

its a good property if you are not in IT field, the only option to get internet here is via xfinity or century link, but century link only offers 3Mbps which can at times become slower even than a dial up and with xfinity as they say they advertise 50Mbps but you will be lucky even if you hit 10

Awesome Place to Live

This is the best place to Live in Edina . You have Centennial Lake , Super Target , DMV office , Cub Foods , YWCA and plenty of other things in close walking distance . Management is one of the best i have seen so far , They are prompt and caring . The community has one of the best Party room with Home Theater , Pool Table and pretty big size dinning area . It also offer indoor and outdoor swimming pool and Gym Area . 1 Bed Room Apt is pretty decent size ( 900 Sq Ft) and Noise is almost 0 with the Concrete Walls. I highly recommend this apt .

IT IS EXACTLY WHAT LUXURY APARTMENT LIVING SHOULD BE.

I like the quietness and solidness of the building. I like that the staff is so caring, friendly and knowledgeable. I love that every flake of snow is gone on all the sidewalks. I am truly amazed and impressed. I like that they run these buildings as if they were their own homes. I love that!!!
